Hamlet's father is dead at the hands of his uncle. Now Hamlet attempts to prove his uncle's guilt and avenge his father's death, but at the cost of everyone he loves.
Plot Summary:
Hamlet, the prince of Denmark, has been visited by the ghost of his father. His father's spirit has told him that his Uncle Claudius killed him before marrying Hamlet's mother. In order to reveal the truth to his mother, Hamlet pretends to be mad and sets up a play for Claudius mimicking the way Hamlet's father died. As Hamlet become more determined to prove the Claudius is guilty, the death toll in the palace of Denmark grows.
Evaluation:
Hamlet can help introduce teenagers to plays and Shakespeare's work.
