Plot Summary:
Barack Obama made history when he was elected the 44th President of the United States. Time magazine has compiled photos from the campaign trail as well as of Obama's young life that give a personal look at who Barack Obama is. The pictures are interspersed with stories of Obama and his life from his childhood to his election as president. Stories of his wife, Michelle Obama and his family are also included.

Evaluation:
This book provides an excellent opportunity to learn about the personal side of President Obama, rather than what might be found in a history book. Teens will be able to become more actively interested in this history-changing presidency.
